Are you ready to explore soccer at a higher level? Newark Select is looking for you! Newark Select teams are a “bridge program” between the Newark FC’s recreation program and the high level competition of the ELITE Soccer Competitive program. Newark Select teams give Newark FC Recreation players the introduction to playing a higher level of soccer than recreation while developing their skills for a chance to earn a spot on one of ELITE Soccer’s high level competitive teams.
Newark Select competitive program is only eligible for players who have tried out for an ELITE Soccer team in the current calendar year. Newark Select teams do not have access to the same high level trainers, facilities, or equipment as the ELITE Soccer program. Season for Newark Select teams is limited to the same season as recreation soccer and not year round soccer as offered by the ELITE Soccer program.
